Dr. Dimitrios Hatzis
Dr. Dimitrios Hatzis is a transaction specialist in public-private sector infrastructure projects, with long experience of improving efficiency, quality and value of services. His speciality is in managing government projects using in-house and external teams to improve the return for taxpayers.
He joined london and oxford group after a period as Director of Strategy and Planning at the Commercial Directorate within the UK Department of Health, with responsibility for a number of flagship health projects. Dimitrios Hatzis previously worked for the Amey business services group, charged with public private partnerships and corporate planning. With a long track record in running effective multidisciplinary teams, he worked for A.T. Kearney and the Miller Group, a property, construction and mining business.
A chartered engineer in Greece and the UK, he is visiting professor at the Department of Biosurgery and Surgical Technology of Imperial College, London. He is a frequent speaker on the international conference circuit on public private partnerships and health management techniques.
Dimitrios Hatzis has a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, a Ph.D. in Engineering from St. John’s College, Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.
